Always on the bleeding edge. The genie animation hasn't pissed me off 
yet... I'm sure it will soon.

It doesn't belive that I know the root password.

It's networked to the Linux box with netatalk. Worked OK under 
Classic Mac OS from 7.5.5 up to 9.1 (didn't try anything older than 
7.5.5) but isn't working on OS X. I think it's something wrong in the 
OS X set up.

OTOH, the Linux box will not let me telnet in from the iBook (works 
OK the other way)!
