April's meeting will be on Thursday 26th April 2001 at 7:30 p.m. at
Borders Bookshop ( ask at information desk on upper ground floor for
directions to meeting venue ) and will move to The Counting House,
Public House, corner of Queen Street and St. Vincent Street, Glasgow at
9:00 p.m.. Enter by Queen Street door. Look for the group with a fluffy
penguin.
All welcome.
The provisional programme for Borders includes a short Question & Answer
session, Book Night and Penguin Origami.
Would ALL attending please be prepared to nominate and talk about their
favourite computing book. It's up to the members to make this an
effective evening.
These should be suitable for beginners and experts. Programme may be
subject to variation.
So the early part of the evening will be at Borders bookshop, Buchanan
Street, Glasgow from 7:30 p.m.. till 9:00 p.m. after which the meeting
will reconvene at the Counting House.
Younger members and those not enamoured by the atmosphere of a public
house can now participate on an equal footing as other members. Any
suggestions for talks etc., or comments should be e-mailed to W. N.
Dyer.
