Hi everyone, I was taking Mozilla 0.9 on a quick spin around the web and naturally stopped off at Microsoft's homepage (for the irony of it :), and I saw the following: "Celebrate Clippy's demise! Attend the Office XP launch in your city to see why Clippy's out of a job ..." Right! So Microsoft realised that everyone HATES that smarmy smug paperclip and have made a marketing ploy from the fact they're getting rid of the damn thing in their next release. What next? "buy the next release of our software: it might not spread so many viruses!!" It gets better .. on one page you can vote (slashdot style) on the clip's fate. It also has random quotes when the mouse is over one of the buttons on the left, one of which is: "Does this website make me look fat?" err, no -- its the software bloat that makes you look fat. Made me laugh ...
