Hi folks
I know this is wayyyyyy off-topic, but since you all are employed in the IT
Industry, I was looking for some advice.
My employer has very graciously decided to change the terms and conditions
under which I am employed (first fault) and has given me the enormous
pleasure of being available mon-fri 9-5 in the office, and on call 5pm -
10pm weekdays and 9am - 10pm weekends. I am understandably so overjoyed by
this kind gesture that I am not taking any extra wages for this enourmous
pleasure and I was wondering if there is anything legal that means that he
really should pay me something or if he is breaking any kind of laws.
I've spoken to citizen's advice, but not heard back from them yet.
Cheers in advance guys
Darren
(p.s. if anyone knows of any vacancies going for a junior level support
person, give me a shout?)
