Theres a discussion on the Gllug list about a similar sort of idea for
short talks, one of the ideas is to have lots of VERY short talks of
about 10 minutes, with a a 10 minute Q&A session following on, The idea
being that if you could do a group of short talks, for example a series
on bash, bash history, bash usage, bash commands, bash programming.
THe good points to this is that if you were doign a series on say bash,
the audience members can join /leave at a stage they are interested in
for example a newbie might want to learn a bit about bash but isnt
interested in shell scripting, however a guru will prolly be sick of how
bash came to be but may be interested in cool scripting stuff.
Have there been any solid plans for another installday/seminar etc?
Cheers
David
