I'll give that a go later, thanks I was still trying to set up the dns but i wasn't quite sure. I'll get round to more specific questions some other time if I can't figure it out (I'm still newish to linux).

FX: <finger in wind> It's a DNS problem. Sendmail needs to know about DNS. at least, it needs to know about the box it's running on.
