LPI seem to be very well known, they were at various expos and seem to have a very large number of places where you can sit your exam however I havent seen anything acknowledging the certifications in any job advert which at the end of the day would be my primary reason for sitting such certification. I think i would be more inclined to do LPI certification since it isnt tied in to a vendor and it costs a hundred pounds rather than a thousand for what in essance seems to be the same thing, although i would be very interested to hear from anybody who knows better.
