There will be a submeeting held at the EdLUG (http://www.edlug.ed.ac.uk) meeting this Thursday (6th December), for anyone interested in wireless networking in Edinburgh. This is at the Holyrood Tavern, Holyrood Road, starting at 7:30pm. Please be as early as possible from this time. Before attending, please add your location (even if purely speculative) to the Consume nodes database at http://consume.net/nodes/. We would like as many people to attend this as possible, so a clear idea of the current distribution of interest can be had and as many questions answered as possible. You should be able to leave this meeting with everything you need to know to set up a node; you will have met the people you are nearby to, been introduced to others who are willing to come and help you, and been given an IP allocation for the network. Please note that we also have a number of machines to donate as nodes for particularly good locations where the existence of a relay point would be beneficial.
