Hi all, Some more spam for the list.
A question I've heard asked frequently is "what firewall should I use?" - I've just been road testing 'firestarter'. It's really easy to use - no it's REALLY VERY easy to use - and sets up a solid, well structured firewall. It can set up both ipchains and iptables based firewalls and includes realtime monitoring. Its a smallish download too (190K for the binary RPM, 524K for the source tarball). The downside is that the firewall wizard and monitoring tool need GTK to run and it doesn't automatically add the generated script to your init.d directory. You can get it at: http://firestarter.sourceforge.net/ Colin -------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.lug.org.uk http://www.linuxportal.co.uk http://www.linuxjob.co.uk http://www.linuxshop.co.uk --------------------------------------------------------------------
