Definitely not - that means only root can maintain the website - not
normally a good idea even on a 'home' PC. The files/dirs must be
readable/executable by the user which apache runs as, and any temporary
file areas must be writable. I guess you could do something funny with uid
mappings, but my preferred way of doing it would be to have a user set up
solely for running apache in a group, say www along with one or more users
whom have write access to the document tree.
