install xkeycaps and xmodmap, then run xkeycaps and follow the instructions. I use them to remap whatever stupid keyboard I'm using to a modified UK layout (caps lock becomes control, alt becomes meta, windows becomes hyper). BTW, how comfy are the happy hacking keyboards? I'm looking to replace the one I'm using at home and am swithering between one of those and an ergonomic one (which is what I use at work, it's dead comfy but somewhat large) - Aidan -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.velvet.net/~aidan/ aim:aidans42 finger for pgp key fingerprint: |----------------------------- 01AA 1594 2DB0 09E3 B850 | On the other side of extreme C2D0 9A2C 4CC9 3EC4 75E1 | stress lies extreme boredom -------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.lug.org.uk http://www.linuxportal.co.uk http://www.linuxjob.co.uk http://www.linuxshop.co.uk --------------------------------------------------------------------
