I would be happy to bring along my (dated) machine - Cyrix 300, 128Mb RAM,
Diamond Monster 3d (Voodoo1), which I have run Half-Life on in Windows, not
yet in Linux.

(Might need a little Linux tweaking, but that's what it's all about isn't
it?)
