I have absolutley no intention on going to a shop / warehouse that over
charges :-)

Already got the hub for these machines, its only a 4 port 10mbs but one of
the machines (the laptop) would be coming out and useing wireless

Unfortunatly i'm not allowed to run any more Networking cables throught the
house, the only place that i could be able to put it in would be the
Bathroom (directly under the Computer room, but only one probelm the
humidity! Theres a shower in the bathroom

What i'm intending on getting is a ADSL router, but i'm not to fussed with
NAT etc cos the isp i'm considering to go with provideds 5 Fixed Ip's

>I've had ranges of - I dunno - over 150 ft.

Hmm, Could be a problem, i was told that it went 500ft indoors (but it
dropped to 1mbs)

>(Spec says about 300 ft I think). But that wasn't at home.
