January's meeting will be on Thursday 31st January 2002 at 7:30 p.m. at 
Borders Bookshop ( ask at information desk on upper ground floor for 
directions to meeting venue ) and will move to The Counting House, 
Public House, corner of Queen Street and St. Vincent Street, Glasgow at 
9:00 p.m.. Enter by Queen Street door. Look for the group with a fluffy 
penguin.

All welcome.

The provisional programme for Borders is a the usual Q&A session, Tool 
of the Month, and  a talk on Wireless LAN under Linux and a free-format 
chat on matters Linux and computing including a possible new venue for 
these meetings.

These should be suitable for beginners and experts. Programme may be 
subject to variation.

So the early part of the evening will be at Borders bookshop, Buchanan 
Street, Glasgow from 7:30 p.m.. till 9:00 p.m. after which the meeting 
will reconvene at the Counting House.

Younger members and those not enamoured by the atmosphere of a public 
house can now participate on an equal footing as other members.
