I have an old HP Deskjet 500 going spare. It's a little tempermental: it doesn't feed paper properly, although I think this could be fixed quite simply by someone knowledgable; once the paper has been fed in initially it rolls through and prints fine, except that it sometimes seems to shift print across by a pixel halfway through (or whatever the printing equivalent of a pixel is), but I'm not sure what the root of this problem is.
Comes as is, along with a cartridge in it, and a brand new cartridge still in foil wrapping. Am giving it away, but would accept a swap of a serial modem cable (25-pin type), or some ethernet cables if you're feeling generous ;o) Ben Thorp [EMAIL PROTECTED] -------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.lug.org.uk http://www.linuxportal.co.uk http://www.linuxjob.co.uk http://www.linuxshop.co.uk --------------------------------------------------------------------
