Hi All,

Any old clipperheads still around? I'm initiating a
project to port old DOS Clipper programs I wrote years
ago to Linux (using Flagship or similar), with a view
to eventually create a set of 4GL extensions and / or
code generator similar to Sycero DB but opensource.

There used to be a version of Sycero for UNIX but the
company has moved onto other things and won't release,
sell or otherwise provide a copy of the software
anymore. This is a shame because Sycero was an
excellent rapid development tool that I feel has a
place in the Linux world.

Two things, anybody interested in joining the project?
Anybody got an old copy of Clipper 5.2 around? My
ancient old backup floppies are corrupt beyond repair
so I'm stuffed for compiling code under DOS. Any
Clipper manuals etc would be welcome too, Ive got some
kit I could barter or cash if required.

Tony
