I hate to have to say it, but thank goodness I'm not the only one with
this impression. I'd like to see the results of interviews with 
some of the more experienced members on the list.

And they expect you to be available on-call should things go down, 
granted they'd allow you to connect remotely, but if it required
a reboot, they'd expect you to go in and do it.
