Hi,

All things being equal, I should be there tonight. But unfortunately I
haven't been able to send everyone (well, specifically Graeme) my public
key. It is available from
http://www.astro.gla.ac.uk/users/paulm/pmillar.gpg

As a quick verify, my fingerprint is in my signature (and should be in all
subsequent signatures). Of course I'm not expecting anyone to sign
anything without seeing me brandishing multiple photo IDs :^)

I'll print off a couple of pages of tear-off strips with GPG-id, location
of key and fingerprint. Anyone who is satisfied of my ID can then take one
of these and check that my public key matches both the fingerprint and
GPG-ID (which is "Paul Millar (Physics & Astronomy)
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>", BTW)

Is this ok?

AFAIK the two steps ("verify real-person == fingerprint" and "verify
fingerprint == public key") can happen in either order.

Cheers,

Paul.
