Title: ADSL and Linux
Sorry, I only have drivers for the USB speedtouch.

I remember mailing the developer (i think that his name was Johann Verrept - but the spelling may not be correct.)

The only other suggestion that I have is to try

speedtouch.sourgeforge.net and start an OT post there, to see if anyone has tried.

Colin,

Do you know which modem that you are going to be supplied with?

Support for the Alcatel Speedtouch ADSL (USB) modem appears to be the best around, imo.

The Intel / Westell modems dont seem to be that well supported yet.

It's an Alcatel SpeedTouch PCI modem that I bought from dslsource.co.uk since I don't have USB on my aging PC.

Bugger. Just went back to DSLsource's website and can't find the bit where it talks about the Linux drivers being available. Though someone else has done some investigation on it as evidenced here http://users.skynet.be/bk230664/linux/

But it may be that, as far as Linux is concerned, I've bought the wrong card.

Bugger
