Well, I had the SBLive for ages - fantastic card. Then the gameport suddenly stopped working fo no apparent reason. I thought it was driver issues or something but it is definately hardware. Since I play games now and again, I needed a gameport. The cheapest (and possibly only) option was to buy another sound card. I got the PCI128 for 8+vat as opposed to a new Live which is 25+vat. Now I run all my sound throught the Live as it has EAX2 and surround etc. but only use the PCI128 for games under windows. Not the best solution but a nice cheap one Allan
