I tried this but then was not sure about email going the other way?
I can't remember exactly what the problem was now, but it would make sense 
seem that smoothwall would allow connections to the inside interface on port 
25, yet I would have ran nmap to make sure port 25 was open. 
Maybe I was close to getting it working than I thought.
