There are benefits to being on OpenProjects, in terms of the number of other channels available from the same servers, channels related to distros, languages and other "open projects". I for one, wouldn't like to see #scotlug become isolated from the rest of the Linux community, there seems to be a drift in the direction of oftc.net, and I'd prefer to go that way.
