I was thinkng about downloading it, but the University network coughs a huge hairball everytime I try to, and I'm on a 56K dial up at home. I seen the latest version of SuSe in PC world last night and it's good value at 60

I am thinking of trying another linux distro. Up to now it's mostly been MD with a touch of Gentoo thrown in. My choices are Red Hat or SuSe. Any recommendations

SuSE, if you don't have a fast internet connection. A staggering breadth of applications included on ~7 CD's.

Make sure you get the professional edition.

The paper documentation is also quite good.
