+1 from me. i don't think we can call it a release, more a milestone. because we have to pass the TCK for JAXR before doing that. no?
I believe so - and AIUI we need to run the TCK on the final binary so we need to do something like:
* prep work (updating Jira, making release notes, etc.) * tag the tree and build a binary distro * do our testing on it (including TCK) until we're happy * promote the binary to an official release
We could use the tagged binary as a milestone release.
Anyway, +1 for starting the process.
