I've created the v0.5 branch, did some nips and tucks, build v0.5
jars and src tgz/zip and posted to people.apache.org/~geirm/scoutv0.5
for now. I'll find the right places for them.
I know that we've had 3 +1s to do this, but to keep it obvious in the
record :
