I perhaps did not express myself clearly : I do not want to delete all jobs 
but some jobs (and their relative logs and items). Of course they are very 
usefull to check that spiders has crawled properly but if as in my case I 
store results in database, I don't care of keeping it for lifetime 
especially when I display them on a web page (to keep it readable).

I will certainly write a middleware as you offer to do but I'm just a 
little frustrated not to be able to use the cancel operation on finished 
jobs !!
And you're right "cancel" is not the appropriate keyword as the job is over 
but it should be name delete or erase

What was making me wondering is the API offers to delete entire project or 
specific project version but not finished jobs ...
