Do you have other jobs arriving to the queue and running? If you do, it can be related to https://github.com/scrapy/scrapyd/issues/187
If you don't, it must be something else. Please open a ticket in https://github.com/scrapy/scrapyd/ attaching your scrapyd configuration and any weird parts of the log. If you don't want to bother with github, you can do it here and I'll open a ticket. Thank you for bringing the issue up.
