Hello Jussi,

I suppose you are the one who built those compiled from sources toolchains.
I have a question, how did you managed to build cs2007 from sources and link it with SB's libc2.3.2?
I've tried but failed due to TLS and several other issues :-(.

Maybe you can shortly describe the process and requirements? Or in case I am really lucky :-), provide the scripts/sb-extras for the task? I'll be very thankful for that, because original CS2007 has those "unsafe include/lib" warning that breaks many configure scripts :-(

Thanks Ahead

Yes, the version numbers in the toolchain configuration are incorrect. But they're easy to fix. Have to make new packaging when I have the time.

There are also versions of the cs2007 available in Apophis downloads that have been compiled from the source (an x86 compiler as well). They have some additional optimizations on by default (see their spec files), but you may still find them interesting...

Regards,

  Jussi

You are right, I've checked that repository before making my own package but got confused by build-config file, It states that old linux-headers and binutils where used. Anyways now when transcpu supports that toolchain, it should become part of official repository as similar toolchains for arm6 and arm7 are.

Hi all,

After testing new transparent devkit, I am happy to inform you that
"qemu-arm-cvs-m" seems to be happy with 2007Q3-51 toolchain from
codesourcery.
If anybody is interested in that toolchain (in form of debian package
for SB1) please contact me.
I believe hosting it on Scratchbox official repository is very good idea.

2007Q3-51 is already available as a package from Jussi's unofficial
pre-versions:
