You should start at [1]. The following presentations shed some light on Scratchbox's purpose: "Scratchbox: Cross-compiling a Linux distribution" "An introduction to the Scratchbox cross-development tool" "Cross-compiling Open Source" [1] http://scratchbox.org/wiki/Presentations > Is there an instruction sheet somewhere for how to build scratchbox > from source? Unfortunately not (that I am aware/remember of), but you can get started by getting the darcs repository from [2] and running the "build" script. The build expects to have an empty, writable /scratchbox directory. It can currently be built only in Debian (sarge). Alternatively, if you're interested in building stuff, you can try to build the 1.2 branch which is still in development (I'm not sure if it builds successfully at this time).
