Subject: [Scratchbox-users] Which toolchain for ARM ?
Hi,
I need a toolchain for s3c2410 in Scratchbox.
Can you please explain me the difference between these toolchains ?
These FAQ are quite helpful
http://www.codesourcery.com/gnu_toolchains/arm/faq.html
Note that if you use an EABI toolchain your kernel & file system must
provide EABI support.
Hi Peter,
thank you for your help.
I don't need the EABI support. I'm just wondering if one of the toolchains
already provided with Scratchbox is suitable for my hardware (s3c2410), if any.
I'm not able of understanding the differences between the toolchains just from
their name, and the Debian packages don't contain any useful information...
The toolchains for which I need more information are the following ones:
scratchbox-toolchain-arm-linux-2006q1-6_1.0.4_i386.deb
scratchbox-toolchain-arm-linux-cs344-2.3_1.0.4_i386.deb
scratchbox-toolchain-arm-linux-ct401-2.3_1.0.4_i386.deb
scratchbox-toolchain-cs2005q3.2-glibc-arm_1.0.4_i386.deb
scratchbox-toolchain-cs2005q3.2-glibc-arm_1.0.5_i386.deb
Any explanation is very welcome.
Many thanks,
Claudio
