I am also now seeing this problem after upgrading to Ubuntu Feisty.
Unfortunately, the suggested solution doesn't seem to work. The stuff
under proc does not seem to behave like a normal file system:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/vdso
bash: /proc/sys/kernel/vdso: No such file or directory

Could this be considered as a bug in Ubuntu Feisty? Does anyone know of
an existing Launchpad bug report for it?
