Additional upgrades to Scratchbox Apophis R4 have been released:

* scratchbox-devkit-doctools 1.0.6
* scratchbox-devkit-debian 1.0.8

And a completely new devkit:

* scratchbox-devkit-maemo3

The new debian devkit brings etch tools to Scratchbox and some significant architectural changes:

* no more generic debian devkit
* debian-sarge is now independent devkit containing sarge
  versions of debian tools
* debian-etch provides etch versions of debian tools
* debian-lenny provides more up-to-date version of dpkg and
  uses debian-etch for the rest (obviously depends from debian-etch)

The maemo debian environment is now provided with:

* debian-sarge
* maemo3-debian (provided by the maemo3 devkit,
  depends from debian-sarge)

If you're a maemo developer, make sure you know what you are doing before attempting to upgrade to a newer debian devkit than 1.0.7.1. It strongly recommended to select scratchbox packages to fuel your sdk from maemo3-sdk distribution in the scratchbox.org debian repository.

The doctools devkit contains more up-to-date (etch) versions from most of the tools. A few tools there are still on sarge stage, waiting for host-gcc upgrade.
