Summary: Screen Doesn't Grab Certain GDB TUI screen updates Project: GNU Screen Submitted by: None Submitted on: Tue 03 Jan 2012 01:49:12 AM UTC Category: User Interface Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: None Fixed Release: None Planned Release: None Work Required: None _______________________________________________________ Details: When using gdb's TUI (Ctrl-X,A) and stepping through code, the screen does not update. Steps to reproduce 1) Start screen session 2) Start gdb debugging session 3) Break somewhere in the middle of some code 4) Enable TUI (Ctrl-X then A) 5) Step to next instruction (n) 6) The Highlighted line (indicating where the PC is pointing to) will disappear and will not re-appear until you force gdb to update the screen again (arrow-up/down to force the screen to update) I'm guessing it has to do with how gdb's TUI is highlighting the line that screen doesn't interpret correctly when that is the only update. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?35224> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
