I have to attach to the session and issue a :log or a C-a H. However, the example below does not work. # screen -d -m -S test_prog -t "Test Prog" ping 127.0.0.1 # screen -ls There are screens on: 7254.test_prog (Detached) 1 Sockets in /var/run/screen/S-root. # screen -S test_prog -X logfile test_prog.txt # screen -S test_prog -X log I also tried: # screen -S test_prog -X log on Still no files ever appear in the local directory. However, if I attach and issue a :log command or C-a H, it works. The file test_prog.txt appears in the local directory. Please let me know if you need any more information. smanders _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?39012> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
