I couldn't resist to write a blog posting[1] a few days ago about my 4.2.0 upload to Debian Experimental. That posting is also published on Planet Debian[2]. [1] http://noone.org/blog/English/Computer/Debian/GNU%20Screen%204.2.0%20in%20Debian%20Experimental.html [2] http://planet.debian.org/ (Unless 4.2.1 comes soonish, I'll make a second upload of 4.2.0 so it will also be available in Debian Unstable and can migrate to Debian Testing, too.) Someone also wrote about Screen 4.2.0 in the ArchLinux News[3]. It's still on their homepage[4]. [3] https://www.archlinux.org/news/screen-420-cannot-reattach-older-instances/ [4] https://www.archlinux.org/ So it got at least some coverage via some Linux distributions. BTW, while I think that it may have been an advantage to announce the 4.2.0 release only on the screen-devel mailing list, I think that 4.2.1 should also be announced on the screen-users mailing list, too.
