vim syntax highlighting does not work in screen

Hey folks,   aladdin wrote on August 16, 2006 that >My vim syntax highlighting does not work in SCREEN.   I had the same problem on my machine. Check that you're running vim and not vi.   Try running vim file.pl instead of vi file.pl.   When you run screen, you often lose the alias vi='vim'   (Just wanted to give back.)   Best, Sunir
