I've added your PPA and upgraded. Unfortunately, I can't now get the nowplaying screenlet to launch despite trying a few things:
Rebooted Switched compiz off / on reset the config for the nowplaying screenlet I've also tried altering the view to show running screenlets and the nowplaying screenlet is never listed as running. I'm using rhythmbox as a music player.
