Definitely is a bug relevant for when the sidebar is "docked" to the
left or right. Annoying too because widgets that update frequently such
as Pidgin pop-out of the sidebar, which then has to be unlocked, the
widget re-added, and then the sidebar re-locked.
With Pidgin in particular, I believe this is any time someone on your
buddy lists logs in/out, but not for status changes, leading me to
believe the pop-out is due to the size of the widget changing (could be
useful in troubleshooting).
