Question #139214 on Screenlets changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/screenlets/+question/139214
tabbernuk posted a new comment: Yes, that's exactly how it is meant to be. Besides that, there is some very practical information for development of the core framework as well as individual widgets in the documentation: http://www.screenlets.org/index.php/Documentation Practical coding guidelines for individual widgets development are on the widget development team page: https://launchpad.net/~indiv- screenlets-dev There are no real guidelines for developing core framework, but I suppose everybody should try to follow best practises of open source development, follow the standards if available and try not to render present functionality unusable. By now, there are still not many people actively working on Screenlets, so almost any kind of action is warmly welcomed in the project. This can be coding, testing, reviewing the bugs, writing documentation, updating the web page, doing some artwork, promoting screenlets on the web or anything else you can think of. There are some reports on latest developments in the mailing list: https://lists.launchpad.net/screenlets-dev/ If you cannot decide how you can help, you can discuss it on mailing list or just ask a question on the project page. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of Screenlets Dev Team, which is an answer contact for Screenlets. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~screenlets-dev Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~screenlets-dev More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
