Public bug reported: New, clean install of Ubuntu 11.10 64 bit, kernel 3.0.0-13.
The "Now Playing" screenlet's superimposed music transport controls do not work to control Quod Libet 2.3. The controls appear on mouse over but when they are clicked nothing happens. Right clicking and selecting a transport action from menu, like "play/pause" works fine, as do the other right click menu controls. Had same issue with previous install of Ubuntu 10.04.3 - 64 bit. Strangely, the Audacious media player does not exhibit this problem under Ubuntu 10.04. I think Rhythmbox also worked as expected under 10.04, but I'm not using either under 11.10. On a side note: 1. will the Guayadeque player ever be supported? 2. is there any way to get "remaining time" for each track displayed? ** Affects: screenlets Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Screenlets Dev Team, which is subscribed to Screenlets. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/893272 Title: nowplaying transport controls not work in Ubuntu 11.10 64bit To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/screenlets/+bug/893272/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~screenlets-dev Post to : screenlets-dev@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~screenlets-dev More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
