Grab your Phillips, it's... The Latest from The Screwdriver List!
My deepest apologies. While initially I went through all the usual suspects, i.e. tried another floppy, tried other bootdisks, rechecked boot sequences in bios, tried booting with no HD or CD roms connected, I've found the stupid problem. I tried a third floppy from another computer and it worked. Geez, feel like a dope. Wish I could remember what works on the spare computers laying around my basement. Thanks all. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Neal Pollack" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Multiple recipients of The_Screwdriver_List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, November 12, 2001 10:28 AM Subject: From The Screwdriver List: Re: can't boot to bootdisk > Grab your Phillips, it's... > The Latest from The Screwdriver List! > > > When you flashed the BIOS, possibly it reset it to the defaults (other > than recognizing your new hard drive) and it your boot options aren't > set to FDD first.
