Hi All, I know, back up, back up, back up forever. Well I didn't often enough. I have a 40 gig Maxtor 7200 rpm IDE drive that died. The three phase driver for the drive motor is not putting out any voltage to drive the motor. It died while saving a file to the swap file. What I have a dier need for is where to send it for repairs. Maxtor has graciously offered to replace the drive but I need the data from it. I need this drive back in working order so I can save the data myself. Does anyone on list have any idea who and where I can find to do this repair? Thank you for all your input.
