I think I clone the Git repository that's supposed to be sync of the SVN repository. Anyhow, I have the latest code from SVN now. I've got all the dependencies installed and built using vcpkg . it may well be worthwhile creating a new Visual Studio project with the paths that vcpkg installs too (as they are a little bit messed around with compared to a Linux install of the headers and libraries)
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/build/vcpkg?view=vs-2019 I had a go at setting things up with visual studio code but its visual studio solution/project support isn't very well developed and it just wanted to make a mess of things. <http://www.avg.com/email-signature?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail> Virus-free. www.avg.com <http://www.avg.com/email-signature?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail> <#DAB4FAD8-2DD7-40BB-A1B8-4E2AA1F9FDF2> On Sat, 9 May 2020 at 14:38, JLuc <[email protected]> wrote: > Le 09/05/2020 à 10:12, NASA Jeff a écrit : > > Inkscapes internal library for importing pdf files (based on POPPLER), > now supports importing text as text as opposed to > > vectors. > > I'd like to have a crack at updating the PDF import in Scribus (which I > see if based on POPPLER and or PODOFO, so that > > it has comparable features to Inkscape's PDF import. > Great project. > Wellcome ! > > > What's the best way to keep in touch with the dev team in case I have > any issues or need to query standard and > > requirements for Scribus along the way? > > Hard to say. > I'm not one of the devs but my experience is that > #scribus on freenode is a place where a chat might happen sometime (rather > evening european time) > and could help define a general agreement on how to best proceed. > Good would be to go step by step and create bug reports with patches. > > As for the features, > I wonder if the core-devs would request an option for importing text as > vector glyphs OR real text frame. > SVG import is also very limited in scribus and could benefit of an > improvement. > > JL > > > _______________________________________________ > scribus-dev mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.scribus.net/mailman/listinfo/scribus-dev >
