Paul,

MacOS didn't "break" anything. Catalina simply dropped support for *all* 32 bit programs, include Apple's own 32 bit software.

Thanks, Craig.

I'll give it a try (probably take me a couple of weeks because
there's a lot going on right now). I'll let you know how it goes.

Hi, Everyone,

I've been using SCRIBUS for a couple of years with no problem. However, Apple just
"upgraded" to macOS Catalina 10.15.2 which has apparently broken Scribus (both
1.4.6 which I was using, and 1.4.8 which I just downloaded).

Are there any fixes available or in the works?

Thanks.

hi Paul

You’ll need to upgrade to our development version 1.5.5. Back up your documents
before you do so as once they’ve been saved in 1.5.5 (including autosave), you
cannot open them in 1.4.x anymore. There may be some layout changes for text.
