Hi All: Just reinstalled Mandrake 9.1 in place of Slackware 9.0.
Couldn't get Scribus to Text-box edit on Slackware 9.0 but the same version of Scribus (1.0RC) compiled perfectly the first time and runs very well on the newly installed Mandrake 9.1 (from LXF41 DVD). Also the fonts look MUCH MUCH nicer on Mandrake. I will try SUSE 8.1 next for comparison. Tom
