Hi, Well, I'm back from the awards ceremony last night. The bad news (if you can consider it bad) is that Scribus didn't win - we were *literally* pipped to the post by OpenOffice. According to the judges, the voting was neck and neck between Scribus and OOo, but the final decision was that as it was the first Linux awards that they would also be judging on past performance.
We'll do it next year for sure ;-) I must thank Prof. Ron Cook at the International Media Centre of University of Salford for the support shown to enable me to go to the awards. TTFN Paul -- The world is throwing away oppressive regimes Which don't allow people to choose. Wars are fought to topple these people. Yet the folks who do this, still use Windows. Double standards or not understanding why they did it?
