Hi, First of all thanks to Franz for Scribus. As I am working in a multi-lingual environment in Lithuania, I tried to find a solution for the problem of Lithuanian text. The interface in Lithuanian is very nice and on screen I can see Lithuanian text as well. But if I try to export it as PDF or EPS it just looks as it were latin-1 text. I then tried to write encoding files (see attachments), but the resulting PDF looked even weirder (if anyone is will would help me, I can send a example file: .scd and PDF). Normally I have a unicode locale but I change it for Scribus and when I tried it with Polish text everything worked fine.
Maybe my encoding files will help to integrate latin-7 encoding for Lithuanian (and Latvian...). There is just one mistake in these files: the last character should be "right single quote" and not double, but I did not know the name for it. And a last question: Is Unicode planned some time? For documents in Lithuanian and Russian for ex...
