Here's another one for the wishlist: user definable import filters. QuarkXPress has a nice implementation of this, where you can apply search-and-replace rules to a text document that you import, e.g.
o Remove tabs o Remove double spaces o Replace CAPS with smallcaps o Replace quotes with smart quotes Etc, etc. Users can define/save multiple filters. XPress also recognizes basic formatting tags that reference styles/colors/objects already defined in a document/template. Dylan.
