This may be an environment issue, but I'm running RH9 -- a pretty clean install -- and gnome. I grabbed the cvs today and compiled it (the only thing I had to do was set my QTDIR variable). If I type some text and select it and press Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V it pastes just fine. If I hit Ctrl-V again, it doesn't paste the text that I cut, it pastes the name of the font many times over.
