-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm trying to compile Scribus 1.1.2 on Debian Woody, but since Woody uses GCC 2.95, I thought I should try installing a backported verision of gcc, so I now have gcc 3.2 installed. But then I should also have qt compiled with gcc 3.2, right? Well, I have now qt-x11-free-3.2.2 compiled and installed with CC=gcc-3.2 CXX=g++-3.2 ./configure --prefix=/tmp/qt3.2.2/ -thread Then when I try to compile scribus 1.1.2 with CC=gcc-3.2 CXX=g++-3.2 I cant get scribus to find my qt3.2.2 stuff. I have tried this: CC=gcc-3.2 CXX=g++-3.2 ./configure - --with-qt-includes=/tmp/qt3.2.2/include and CC=gcc-3.2 CXX=g++-3.2 ./configure --with-qt-dir=/tmp/qt3.2.2 but I always end up with
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.0.2) (library qt-mt) not found. Please check your installation! For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log. Make sure that you have compiled Qt with thread support! - -- Klaus http://www.holmlia.gs.oslo.no -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/sp+6hJ+fXyb6R30RAu6KAJ0RAH27ZVFr0VZktO8V1a9wuaUn9wCfdWNd cwXX+aD018CIYesWl245e0k= =iBnQ -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
